In the Spirit of Boys Town's Fr. Flanagan, our philosophy is simple, "There is no bad dog."

Misguided perhaps, maybe even confused, or frightened, but not really bad. With the right combination of knowledge, understanding, patience and follow through, any dog can be a happy, well adjusted member of the family.

However, don't wait for problems to arise, mold your new family member correctly from day one. At AKA, we can impress upon your dog, the correct expectations and communicate to them in a way that they can understand. We will help you as well as your new companion to develop good habits that lead to desired behavior.

We recommend that you even contact us before you decide on the breed that's right for you. Matching yourself to the right kind of dog can eliminate many disappointments.
